We're going to Magdeburg!

The state elections in Saxony-Anhalt are just around the corner, and according to polls, the AfD has a chance of winning at least 40 percent of the vote. If they gain government responsibility, we know what that means: harsh attacks on the guarantee of human dignity and the principle of democracy. We can't let that go unanswered!

On 05.09.2026, the alliance "Sachsen-Anhalt. Weltoffen!" is calling for a major rally and a democracy festival in Magdeburg. The motto: Take a stand for democracy, diversity, and solidarity. Well-known artists and voices from across Germany, as well as local acts from Saxony-Anhalt, will be taking part. Representatives from trade unions as well as from many civil society initiatives and alliances will also be present.

AVJ Bremen and GEW Bremen would like to travel there with you from Bremen. Departure is at 08:30 from ZOB / Bremen main station, and we'll be back around 22:00. The cost per ticket is 20 euros.
