Rally & running demonstration on May 11, 2025, from 12:00 noon, Untermarkt Hattingen

We, the group Hattingen for Diversity and Democracy, call on all democrats, associations, initiatives, religious communities, trade unions and individuals to join forces to send a powerful signal against right-wing extremism and for an open society based on solidarity.

The reason for the event is the nationwide classification of the AfD as an extreme right-wing party.

We join the nationwide demand for a ban on this anti-democratic party - because fascism is not an opinion, it is a crime!

Our democracy is not a sure-fire success.

It thrives on the commitment and attitude of the many. Right now, we need a clear stance against hate speech, racism and inhuman ideologies.

Come to the Untermarkt in Hattingen on May 11, 2025 at 12:00 noon!

After the kick-off rally, we will march together through the city center.

Let's show: Hattingen is diverse. Hattingen is democratic. Hattingen is vigilant.
