Today, nearly 80 years after the Basic Law came into effect, human dignity is under attack in Germany. With the AfD, a far-right party is represented in the Bundestag and in nearly all state parliaments. It tramples on the dignity of all people who do not fit into its worldview and poses a concrete threat to their lives. In the state elections, state governments are at risk of falling into fascist hands.

That is why the campaigns “Ban AfD Now!” and “Stand Up Against Racism,” together with over 70 organizations, are calling for nationwide actions on May 23, 2026 - day of Basic Law. Among other places, in Hamburg.
