One day before the state elections in Brandenburg, “Kein Bock Auf Nazis” and “Brücken statt Gräben” are organizing a large rally with live music against the right.

In Saxony, Thuringia and Brandenburg, the AfD is on the verge of becoming the strongest party in the state elections. At the same time, threats and attacks by right-wing forces are steadily increasing. For many people, this means everyday life: Fear. And the greatest threat to democracy since 1933. Now is the time to move on and stand up. Now is the time to take a stand, to speak out and to support those affected. The aim must be to mobilize as many people as possible to vote in Brandenburg in order to prevent one thing: political power for anti-democrats.

The “Kein Bock Auf Nazis” initiative and the Brandenburg alliance “Brücken statt Gräben” are therefore calling for a vocal protest against right-wing parties such as the AfD together with civil society one day before the state elections. The rally on Luisenplatz in Potsdam will be accompanied by music, including headliners Madsen, ZSK and Sportfreunde Stiller.

“The AfD is the biggest threat to democracy,” says Joshi, singer of the band ZSK. “Together with thousands of committed people from all over Brandenburg, we will show that this party's racist agitation will not go unchallenged.”

In the afternoon, there will be a program for families - from bouncy castles and food trucks to music for children. More than 20 initiatives from civil society in Brandenburg, which have been campaigning against the right and contempt for humanity for years, will come together on site.
