On Saturday, May 23 - 77th birthday of Basic Law - we will join forces with several Solingen-based coalitions to participate in the statewide campaign “Ban the AfD Now.”

Join us from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to help collect signatures for the North Rhine-Westphalia appeal to initiate proceedings to ban the AfD, and send a clear message in support of democracy and human dignity and against right-wing extremism. (Setup begins at 9:30 a.m., takedown after 12:30 p.m.)

Our information booths:

• City center: Kirchstraße/Kölner Straße (next to dm)

• Ohligs: Düsseldorfer Straße / Ohligser Markt (near Rewe)

At the same time, Jacques Tilly’s monumental “Wir sind mehr” fish will be making its way through Solingen—a powerful symbol of an open and united society standing against hate and incitement.
