The AfD is a danger to all people who do not fit into its worldview. It disparages democratic institutions and attacks the rule of law. Renowned constitutional lawyers therefore agree: the AfD can and must be banned. Not only would the proceedings before the Federal Constitutional Court have a high chance of success. It would also be a powerful symbol of a strong democracy. However, political leaders are blocking the ban proceedings due to a lack of courage or power-political calculations.

How can we initiate proceedings to ban the AfD without further delay? This question will be discussed by Eva Linhart, the Green Party's candidate for mayor of Erlangen, with Member of the Bundestag Andreas Audretsch (Green Party), lawyer Chan-Jo Jun, and Dr. Benno Baumbauer from the campaign “Defend Human Dignity — Ban the AfD Now!” Right-wing extremism expert Dominik Sauerer will give an introduction to the activities of the local AfD.
