Is the AfD ban the right step in the fight against right-wing extremism?

After the state elections, many trade union activists are asking themselves: How should we deal with the AfD? We can't be happy about the AfD's high approval ratings: it divides the workforce and attacks trade union achievements. Is an AfD ban therefore the right step against the extreme right?
