After intelligence service report: Over 60 civil society organizations call on the Federal Government and Bundestag to immediately initiate the ban procedure against the AfD before the Federal Constitutional Court.

The campaign Defend Human Dignity - Ban the AfD Now! welcomes the classification of the entire AfD as right-wing extremist by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution and comments:

“The Office for the Protection of the Constitution confirms today what we have known for a long time: The entire AfD continuously disregards and violates the human dignity of various population groups and is a concrete danger to our democracy. It can and must be stopped by banning the party. Civil society, constitutional law experts and over 600 lawyers have been calling for this for a long time. The Bundestag, Bundesrat and the incoming federal government must finally act now. For Friedrich Merz as the new Federal Chancellor, initiating a ban procedure must be the first official act.
