Ban the AfD now! Defend human dignity.

We call on the Bundestag, Bundesrat, and federal government to fulfill their responsibility and initiate a ban procedure at the Federal Constitutional Court.

Come to our vigil every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Großstraße 15-19, 25813 Husum (near the entrance to the THEO shopping center).

Unfortunately, political leaders have so far been unable to bring themselves to initiate or at least consider proceedings to ban the Alternative for Germany party, which has been classified as “confirmed right-wing extremist” by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution. On the contrary: the party's influence is already undeniably great, and the AfD does not need absolute majorities to gain power.

This party wants to abolish the free democratic basic order of the Federal Republic of Germany. It makes no secret of this.

The mothers and fathers of our Basic Law built a protective mechanism into the Basic Law based on their direct experience with National Socialism. This is not about restricting freedom of expression. It is about ensuring that a party hostile to the state is no longer financed with taxpayers' money and is kept away from the levers of democratic power.

We call on the Bundestag, Bundesrat, and federal government to submit a motion to ban the party to the Federal Constitutional Court. Only the Federal Constitutional Court can ultimately examine the evidence of the party's anti-constitutionality and decide on a party ban.

Against the backdrop of our historical experience and global political upheavals, our resistance is now becoming increasingly important. We want to emphasize our demand to ban the far-right party from parliament with our presence on the streets.

We would be delighted to see many participants, even at short notice and spontaneously.

The more of us there are, the more impressive the vigil will be!
